You will be the face of blithequark, providing top-notch support to our customers and ensuring their needs are met. Key Responsibilities Promotes and sells air journeys to the traveling public or freight forwarders Provides assistance with passenger check-in and load acceptance Interprets authority's guidelines and requirements for domestic and international journeys or shipment shipments Meets and dispatches aircraft within set-up times Provides assistance to troubled passengers and clients Protects company properties and revenue Ensures a safe journey for all passengers Possesses the physical capability and dexterity to apply motor skills to perform various job-related duties Uses organizational skills to perform multiple tasks within a limited time period Is self-motivated and requires minimal supervision Responds and assists during safety and emergency situations Follows internal/external regulations and procedures May be required to drive and operate air stairs to various types of aircraft to enplane and deplane passengers Responsible for the overall performance within the work location and may be required to lead and direct the work of other employees May be required to perform Passenger Operation Control functions, including air-to-ground communication as well as Tower functions Essential Qualifications To be successful in this role, you'll need: High school diploma or GED Ability to read, write, fluently speak, and understand the English language Bilingual language skills are required in some locations Applicable valid driver's license as required by local authorities Must satisfy FAA criminal background checks to qualify for unescorted admission to privileges to airport security identity display areas (SIDA), if applicable Must be able to obtain suitable airport authority and/or US Customs security badges, if applicable Ability to work irregular and/or extended hours, including weekends and holidays Must report to work on a regular and timely basis Preferred Qualifications While not required, the following skills and qualifications are preferred: Previous experience in customer service or a related field Knowledge of the air travel industry and its regulations Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously Strong problem-solving and analytical skills Skills and Competencies To excel in this role, you'll need to possess the following skills and competencies: Excellent customer service skills Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work in a team environment Strong problem-solving and analytical skills Ability to adapt to changing situations and priorities Strong organizational and time management skills Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits At blithequark, we're committed to helping our employees grow and develop in their careers.
