**Experienced Mandarin Speaking Customer Service Agent – Ticket/Gate Agent – Los Angeles International Airport (LAX)**

At blithequark, our people are our success, and we are dedicated to providing our employees with a supportive and inclusive work environment that allows them to grow and thrive. **Key Responsibilities** As a Ticket/Gate Agent, you will be responsible for: * Greeting customers and guiding them through the ticketing and baggage check-in process * Using a computer to sell, print, and reissue tickets * Managing the check-in process, ensuring that customers have the proper travel documentation * Tagging baggage and performing lifting tasks that involve transferring baggage from scales to conveyor belts * Practicing safety-conscious behaviors in all operational processes and procedures * Using computers to assist customers with seat availability, make gate announcements regarding the boarding process, flight status, checking and handling baggage, managing, and initiating the boarding process * Operating jet ways to place them in position prior to aircraft arrival and lift, opening, closing, and securing aircraft doors * Embracing a diverse set of people, thinking, and styles * Consistently prioritizing the safety and security of self, others, and personal data **Requirements** To be successful in this role, you will need to: * Be fluent in both English and Mandarin to better serve our customers * Possess a high school diploma, GED, or high school equivalency * Be at least 18 years of age and have authorization to work in the United States * Be proficient in English * Have strong verbal and written communication skills using appropriate grammar, tone, and pronunciation * Possess basic computer skills * Successfully pass a Customer Service Assessment * Frequently lift bags or items weighing up to and including 50 pounds * Occasionally lift bags or items weighing between 50 and 70 pounds * Be willing to work a fixed and/or rotating schedule including afternoons, evenings, weekends, and holidays * Pass a physical ability test (PAT) * Ability to hold airport-specific requirements such as a SIDA Badge and Customs Seal **Preferred Qualifications** * Previous ticketing experience is preferred * Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and deadlines * Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills * Ability to work effectively in a team environment * Familiarity with airline operations and procedures **Benefits and Perks** At blithequark, we offer a comprehensive benefits package that includes: * Competitive salary, industry-leading profit-sharing program, and performance incentives * 401(k) with generous company contributions up to 9% * New hires are eligible for up to 2-weeks of vacation.
