About the Position The Junior Geographic Information Systems Analyst will be responsible for creating geographic information for assigned areas, designing computer-generated maps and reports, and providing administrative support to local dealmakers. This role requires a strong foundation in geographic information systems, data analysis, and statistical techniques, as well as excellent verbal and written communication skills. Key Responsibilities and Duties Design computer-generated maps, reports, tables, and charts for the needs of assigned districts using MapInfo as requested by regional dealmakers. Process requests and orders directly from bolthires Operations for market strategy guides and display materials. Perform a variety of project-specific tasks, including research and representation of data as assigned. Provide administrative support to regional dealmakers by preparing accurate and timely bolthires reports, editing documents, booking travel, preparing visit books, and meeting other administrative requirements as requested. Perform general office duties, including answering incoming calls, greeting office visitors, mail handling and preparation, ensuring all office equipment is functioning properly, and ordering office supplies. Essential Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need: A bachelor's degree in GIS or a related field, or two years of relevant work experience in geographic information systems. General knowledge of geographic information systems and data analysis techniques. Proficiency in Adobe Acrobat and MS Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook. Solid verbal and written communication skills. Preferred Qualifications While not required, the following skills and qualifications are preferred: Experience with MapInfo. Previous experience working in a remote or virtual team environment. Familiarity with bolthires's operations and business model.
