Job Summary We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sales Assistant / Customer Service Representative to join our remote team at blithequark. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, building relationships with clients, and driving sales growth through innovative solutions. Responsibilities The successful candidate will be responsible for the following key responsibilities: Prepare, plan, and execute travel sales, including but not limited to airline, car rental, cruises, hotels, tickets/events, and activities. Process payments on behalf of the client. Provide all necessary documents to clients before and after travel. Provide exceptional customer service to clients, responding to inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner. Maintain relationships with travel partners and vendors, building strong relationships and negotiating contracts. Work well in a group/team setting, collaborating with colleagues to achieve sales targets and provide excellent customer service. Stay up-to-date on the travel industry and policies, attending training sessions and workshops to enhance knowledge and skills. Complete required certification within a timely manner, demonstrating a commitment to professional development. Complete ongoing training with our company and travel partners, staying ahead of industry trends and best practices. Skills and Requirements To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following skills and qualifications: Must be 18 years of age or older, and be a resident of the United States. Must have a smartphone and/or a computer, with reliable internet access. Ability to interact, communicate, and negotiate effectively, building strong relationships with clients and partners. Ability to make travel and event recommendations based on clients' interests, providing personalized solutions and exceptional customer service. Ability to manage time and be organized, prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Attention to accuracy and detail, ensuring that all client information and documents are accurate and up-to-date. Strong verbal and written communication skills, responding to client inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner. Computer and Internet knowledge, with experience using software applications and online platforms. Personal travel experience is not required but will be considered an advantage, demonstrating a passion for the travel industry and a willingness to learn.
