As a Customer Service Representative, you'll be responsible for providing top-notch support to our customers, handling loan applications, and ensuring that our customers receive the best possible experience. **Responsibilities and Duties** As a Customer Service Representative, you'll be responsible for: * Making outbound and receiving inbound calls to assist customers with their loan applications and other financial services * Consistently and accurately documenting all information pertaining to accounts, using your exceptional attention to detail * Using basic business math to solve problems and provide accurate solutions to customers * Speaking clearly, concisely, and effectively, while listening to and understanding information and ideas as presented verbally * Maintaining a professional demeanor, showing sensitivity, tact, and professionalism when speaking to customers * Following written and/or verbal instructions, while working within the laws, rules, regulations, policies, and procedures * Processing card payments accurately, and performing the initial approval of potential borrowers by thoroughly examining their applications through multiple software systems * Reviewing applicants to evaluate their eligibility for loan, and following up with customers to clarify important points * Finalizing loan details and keeping customers informed of rules and obligations * Remaining up-to-date regarding lending and other financial services, and creating and renewing records as needed * Identifying customer needs, exploring all options available to customers, and providing personalized solutions * Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment, and change quickly with the needs of the company * Ability to multi-task by speaking with customers and typing notes simultaneously * Meeting monthly individual goals as set by management **Required Skills** To succeed in this role, you'll need: * Excellent Customer Service skills, with a passion for delivering exceptional service * Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex information in a clear and concise manner * Ability to remain calm and courteous under pressure, and navigate tense situations with ease * Proficient use of technology, including computers, software applications, and phone systems * Ability to work in a remote environment, with minimal supervision **Preferred Education and/or Experience** While a minimum of a High school diploma/GED is required, we prefer candidates with: * Previous experience in customer service, preferably in a financial services or lending environment * Technical skills, including proficiency in MS: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook * Familiarity with cloud-based storage and the Internet **Working Conditions / Physical Demands** As a remote Customer Service Representative, you'll be working from the comfort of your own home, with minimal physical demands.
