As a Data Entry Specialist, you will be part of a dynamic team that is passionate about making a difference in the lives of patients and healthcare professionals. **Key Responsibilities** As a Data Entry Specialist, you will be responsible for: * Accurately entering data from healthcare provider (HCP), patient, and/or pharmacy interactions into the REMS database systems * Reviewing and verifying documentation to ensure it aligns with REMS program requirements * Escalating discrepancies or incomplete information in accordance with standard operating procedures (SOPs) * Managing multiple channels, requests, or tasks, prioritizing, organizing, and executing them efficiently and effectively * Demonstrating proficient use of technology to enable accurate, timely, and compliant documentation as it relates to activities * Ensuring all activities are conducted and properly executed in a manner that is strictly compliant with all MLS, client, and industry mandated rules and regulations * Handling and managing sensitive information and patients' Personal Health Information (PHI) responsibly and within MLS and client compliance parameters * Working and communicating cohesively within a team to identify collaborative opportunities and enable process improvement **Essential Qualifications** * High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate or Bachelor's degree preferred * 1-3 years of data entry or administrative experience; prior experience in a healthcare, pharmaceutical, or REMS environment strongly preferred * Familiarity with medical terminology, patient support programs, or REMS a plus * Ability to quickly learn and accurately retain knowledge in numerous data entry systems * Optimistic, upbeat, and enthusiastic in times of challenge and constant change * Highly adaptable, flexible, and ability to prioritize multiple tasks * Ability to proactively identify potential issues, risks, and implementation concerns * Ability to multitask, organize, and prioritize in a fast-paced environment, including follow-up tasks * Proficiency with the Internet, including the ability to perform searches with the use of multiple screens and browser tabs * Proficient with keyboarding skills with a minimum typing speed of 40 WPM **Preferred Qualifications** * Associate or Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., healthcare, business, or computer science) * Experience with REMS database systems or similar data entry systems * Certification in medical terminology or a related field * Experience working in a REMS or pharmaceutical environment **Work Environment and Culture** As a remote Data Entry Specialist, you will have the flexibility to work from home and enjoy a comfortable and quiet workspace.
