As a valued member of our team, you will have the opportunity to grow and develop your skills, pursue career-building opportunities, and contribute to our mission to solve some of today's biggest health challenges. **Responsibilities** As a Customer Service Support Representative, you will be responsible for: * Providing exceptional customer service to patients, healthcare providers, and insurance carriers, responding to inquiries and resolving issues related to billing and insurance coverage * Researching and communicating complex information in a clear and concise manner, ensuring accurate and timely resolution of customer concerns * Collaborating with other departments to resolve reimbursement opportunities and ensure seamless communication between stakeholders * Initiating payment plans for patients with outstanding balances, adhering to PCI compliance protocols * Documenting telephone conversations clearly and accurately in the respective systems, maintaining patient confidentiality and adhering to HIPAA guidelines and regulations * Updating and maintaining records in the billing system, including the review of accounts, payment collections, and case notes * Assisting with other duties as assigned, contributing to the overall success of the team **Qualifications** To be successful in this role, you will need: * An Associate's degree with at least 1+ year of prior relevant work experience or a High School diploma/GED equivalent with at least 3+ years of relevant work experience * Prior healthcare experience is strongly preferred, with a strong preference given to professional medical billing and collection practices * Ability to interpret and apply understanding of insurance explanation of benefits (EOB) strongly preferred * Previous customer service experience handling high call volume is strongly preferred * Medicare/Medicaid billing experience is preferred * Knowledge of CPT and ICD10 codes is strongly preferred * Experience with Laboratory Billing and Laboratory Information System (LIS) is preferred * Working knowledge of prior authorization is preferred * Understanding of Women's Health & Genetics Moms Helping Moms of Tomorrow processes is preferred * XIFIN experience is preferred * Bilingual in English and Spanish is preferred **Desired Skills** In addition to the qualifications listed above, we are seeking candidates with: * Excellent verbal and written communication skills * Ability to follow established program protocols and procedures * Ability to review large amounts of data for accuracy * Must be organized and detail-oriented * Computer proficiency in MS Windows, MS Office, and database experience **Physical and Remote Technical Requirements** * Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer * Internet speed of at least 50 megabytes per second * Ability to connect equipment to router/modem with Ethernet cord * Equipment cannot be connected through Wi-Fi or satellite internet **Benefits** As a valued member of our team, you will be eligible for comprehensive benefits, including: * Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, STD/LTD, 401(k), Paid Time Off (PTO) or Flexible Time Off (FTO), Tuition Reimbursement, and Employee Stock Purchase Plan * Casual, PRN & Part Time employees regularly scheduled to work less than 20 hours are eligible to participate in the 401(k) Plan only **Equal Opportunity Employer** blithequark is proud to be an equal opportunity employer, committed to inclusion and belonging in the workforce.
