Job Overview As a Customer Service Representative at blithequark, you'll play a vital role in providing accurate and efficient member service, ensuring high levels of member satisfaction, and maintaining accurate records of member accounts. You'll be the face of our organization, interacting with members via telephone requests, processing financial transactions, and providing account information. Your goal will be to deliver exceptional service, identify and educate members on product and service needs, and contribute to the attainment of sales goals for the department and organization. Key Responsibilities Process financial transactions and provide members with account information in a timely and efficient manner Assist with troubleshooting mobile banking issues and provide technical support as needed Contribute to sales goal attainment by identifying and educating members on product and service needs through meaningful conversations Provide members with unparalleled experiences, ensuring that every interaction is positive and memorable Assist with meeting departmental goals and individual performance metrics, continually striving for excellence and improvement Additional Opportunities As a Customer Service Representative at blithequark, you'll have the opportunity to obtain additional credentials and expand your skill set in areas such as: Cards: Assist members with card-specific needs, perform card maintenance and transactions, and receive and submit card disputes for further investigation Fraud: Assist members with fraud inquiries, recognize and report fraudulent activity, and perform maintenance within accounts to reduce and limit exposure to fraud Mentor: Mentor new hires during the onboarding process, assist peers with account-specific inquiries and escalated member concerns, and provide feedback to associates and educate them on procedures and internal resources Essential Qualifications To be successful in this role, you'll need: 0-1 years of related experience in customer service or a similar field General and business knowledge equivalent to a high school diploma Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with members and colleagues Attention to detail and accuracy, with a strong focus on providing exceptional service and maintaining accurate records Familiarity with PCs and applicable software, with the ability to quickly learn and adapt to new systems and technologies Preferred Qualifications While not required, the following qualifications are preferred: Previous experience in a credit union or banking environment Knowledge of credit union products, services, policies, and procedures Experience with sales and customer service software, such as CRM systems Ability to speak multiple languages, with a focus on languages commonly spoken in our member community Skills and Competencies To excel in this role, you'll need to possess the following skills and competencies: Ability to successfully recognize and offer sales opportunities, with a focus on providing value to our members Effective knowledge of our products, services, and policies, with the ability to apply this knowledge in a practical and meaningful way Accountability and self-management, with a strong focus on taking ownership of your work and continually striving for excellence Teamwork and leadership, with the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and provide guidance and support as needed Communication, with the ability to effectively interact with members and colleagues in a clear and concise manner Innovation and problem-solving, with the ability to think creatively and develop solutions to complex problems Career Growth and Development At blithequark, we're committed to helping our employees grow and develop in their careers.
