Job Overview In this critical role, you will be responsible for overseeing multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring that each project is delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards. Your expertise in project planning, execution, and management will be essential in driving project success and building strong relationships with our customers. You will work collaboratively with our R&D teams to prioritize work items, manage project dependencies, and ensure proactive communication with customers to mitigate risks and assumptions. Key Responsibilities Develop and execute comprehensive project plans, including scope, quality, timelines, deliverables, and budget, across multiple projects Manage change and project scope to minimize additional unfunded work and maximize funded change requests Build and maintain strong customer relationships, understanding their business challenges and priorities across multiple accounts Collaborate with R&D teams to create and prioritize work items in the product backlog, aligning with customer plans and commitments Proactively communicate with customers to ensure a shared understanding of project status, risks, and assumptions, using a combination of reports and verbal communication Support the culture of continuous improvement within Professional Services to improve project outcomes for our customers and blithequark Manage project dependencies and impediments, particularly dependencies met by customers Proactively manage costs versus budget to ensure project profitability Requirements and Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need to possess a unique blend of technical, business, and interpersonal skills. The ideal candidate will have: A degree in Electronic Engineering, Software Engineering, or Computer Science Significant experience in managing multiple software projects in a customer-facing role Experience in managing customer expectations and building strong relationships Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and roles, particularly Product Owner and Scrum Master Ability to quickly learn and understand complex technical concepts, with a background in consumer video or broadband technologies Negotiation skills to agree on scope and timelines with customers Experience using Atlassian tools (Jira, Confluence) and Microsoft Project Strong leadership skills to help guide and motivate R&D teams Fluency in English Essential Skills and Competencies In addition to the above requirements, the successful candidate will possess: Strong project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage timelines, and allocate resources effectively Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate risks Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with customers, stakeholders, and team members Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with multiple projects and priorities Strong business acumen, with the ability to understand customer needs and priorities Career Growth and Development At blithequark, we are committed to the growth and development of our employees.
