About the Role The Customer Care Advocate position at blithequark is designed for individuals who are passionate about delivering top-notch customer service, resolving issues efficiently, and promoting our array of products and services to strengthen customer relationships. This role involves answering customer inquiries via phone, addressing billing, technical, and service questions, and identifying opportunities to offer our customers the best solutions tailored to their needs. To ensure your success, we provide a comprehensive 9-week training program that enhances your customer service skills and equips you with in-depth knowledge of our voice, cable, modem, and dial-up products and services. Key Responsibilities Respond to customer inquiries in a professional and courteous manner, resolving issues promptly and efficiently. Provide accurate and detailed information about our products and services, making recommendations that meet customers' specific needs. Utilize opportunities to upsell and cross-sell our services, contributing to the growth of our customer base and revenue. Maintain a high level of product knowledge to effectively support customers and address technical issues. Collaborate with internal teams to resolve complex customer issues, ensuring a seamless experience. Meet and exceed performance metrics, including customer satisfaction scores, first call resolution rates, and sales targets. Work Environment and Requirements This is a remote work opportunity, allowing you to work from the comfort of your own home or opt to work out of our San Marcos office. To ensure productivity and security in a remote setting, the following requirements must be met: A dedicated, private room in your home that is quiet during work hours. An internet connection of 50 MB or more, which is hard-wired (Ethernet connected) from the modem to your company PC. blithequark will provide all necessary computer equipment. Your desktop work surface must have room for 2 PC monitors. In the event of disruptions resulting in a poor internet connection or in-home disruption, you may be required to work from the office. Therefore, you must live within a 60-mile commuting distance from the San Marcos office. A personal cell phone is required to install a security application. Presence in the virtual work environment via a company-provided webcam is mandatory during all working hours. Meeting minimum performance achievement levels as defined by customer care leadership is essential for success in this role. What You Bring to the Table To be successful as a Customer Care Advocate at blithequark, you should have: A minimum of 1 year of prior customer care experience, preferably with sales and/or technical experience in a service environment. A high school diploma or equivalent; post-secondary education is an asset. Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to multitask easily in a fast-paced environment. Comfort with computers and technology, with a willingness to learn and adapt to new systems and processes. Flexibility to work a variety of hours and days, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. An open mindset and ability to function in a changing environment, with a focus on continuous improvement and customer satisfaction.
