About the Role We are seeking a highly skilled and empathetic Bilingual Healthcare Customer Service Representative to join our team. Key Responsibilities Answer inbound calls in both English and Spanish from US customers, addressing questions and concerns regarding their healthcare benefits Actively listen to customers, building trust and rapport to ensure they feel heard and cared for Provide essential information to members regarding access to care issues, benefits, proof of coverage, member handbook, and other relevant topics Guide callers through troubleshooting, navigating self-service options, and using company resources and products Utilize client-specific knowledge systems to research and review multiple documents, keeping customers engaged and informed Follow documented processes and procedures to ensure compliance with government audits and regulations Empathize with customers, resolving concerns and simplifying their healthcare experience Navigate multiple computer applications with speed and accuracy, adapting to new call types and business needs as required Work at Home Requirements To be successful in this role, you will need to meet the following technical requirements: High-speed internet with at least 25 Mbps download speed and 15 Mbps upload speed (no satellite, WiFi, or cellular/wireless carrier internet services) A hard-wired internet connection via Ethernet cable to a modem/router that you own or are responsible for (blithequark will provide company equipment) A dedicated, quiet, and secured workspace with no distractions A USB-wired headset with a noise-canceling microphone Additional Requirements To be considered for this role, you should meet the following qualifications: Be at least 18 years old and have a high school diploma or equivalent Be fluent in both English and Spanish Have a minimum of 1 year of previous experience as a health plan call center agent (member service, provider service, pharmacy plan member service) Have Medicare and/or Medicaid experience (a plus) Possess exceptional customer service, active listening, and verbal and written communication skills Have high computer proficiency and navigation of multiple applications Be willing to work any shift between 10:00 am-1:00 am, 7 days a week, Eastern standard time, including holidays and weekends (on holidays, extend hours 24/7 to small staff) Have a professional, positive attitude and courteous telephone etiquette Be customer-focused, with a desire to help people and make a positive impact Benefits and Perks At blithequark, we offer a comprehensive range of benefits and perks to support your well-being and career growth, including: Competitive salary ($16 per hour for bilingual Spanish speakers, with overtime opportunities during peak periods) Access to up to 50% of your pay immediately after your shift Health insurance (medical, dental, vision) and other benefits Pet insurance Paid, virtual training Remote work environment Opportunities for professional development and growth Career Growth and Learning Benefits At blithequark, we are committed to helping our employees grow and develop in their careers.
