How You'll Contribute to Our Success As a Ramp Agent at blithequark, you will play a vital role in ensuring that our customers' baggage and cargo arrive safely and on time. Your daily tasks will include safely lifting, loading, unloading, and transporting baggage, mail, and cargo to and from aircraft, as well as guiding incoming and departing aircraft from gate positions to ensure timely connections. Key Responsibilities: Safely lift, load, unload, and transport baggage, mail, and cargo to and from aircraft, in addition to being responsible for timely connections by guiding incoming and departing aircraft from the gate positions. Safeguard cargo, baggage, and mail from damage, loss, and weather. Safely drive and operate ground equipment such as tugs, belt loaders, and tow tractors in areas of congestion. Operate baggage scanners and computers to ensure baggage is routed accurately to the customer's destination. Work Schedule and Environment As a Ramp Agent at blithequark, you can expect to work a variety of shifts, ranging from early morning to overnight, with each station's schedule varying based on its individual flight schedule.
