About the Role As a 3rd Shift Customer Service Representative at blithequark, you will be the face of our company, interacting with customers, providing excellent customer care, and working with a fun, energetic team to accomplish daily tasks around the store. You will greet customers, run the register, cashier, make purchase suggestions, and sometimes work with our food program. Your key responsibilities will include: Greeting customers and providing exceptional customer service Running the register, cashing, and making purchase suggestions Working with our food program and maintaining high standards for store appearance Providing regular and predictable onsite attendance Interacting with many customers daily and working with a fun, energetic team to accomplish daily goals Essential Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following essential qualifications: Retail and customer service experience Sales associate or cashiering experience High school diploma or equivalent Motivation to advance in your career and willingness to learn and have fun Ability to stand and/or walk for up to 8 hours, lift and/or carry up to 30 pounds, and push/pull with arms up to a force of 20 pounds Preferred Qualifications While not required, the following preferred qualifications will make you a stronger candidate for this role: Previous experience working in a fast-paced retail environment Excellent communication and problem-solving skills Ability to work effectively in a team environment and think quickly to offer suggestions High level of energy and enthusiasm, with a passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences Skills and Competencies To excel in this role, you will need to possess the following skills and competencies: Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to provide exceptional care to customers Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers and team members Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a high level of energy and enthusiasm Basic math skills, with the ability to handle cash and operate a register Ability to lift, carry, and push/pull objects, with a high level of physical stamina Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits At blithequark, we are committed to the growth and development of our employees.
