Enterprise Document Management Systems (EDMS) Intern
Join Arch’s internship program to gain hands-on experience in software development within a collaborative, innovative insurance environment. Your Role Here’s what you will be doing: • Learn product-oriented agile development environment with the Enterprise Document Management System (EDMS) team and related methodologies. • Support EDMS team mission to process Mortgage Insurance Documents including data extraction and loan registration. • Develop, implement, and sustain software solutions using various technology stacks to enable business operations across multiple product teams. • Participate in AGILE backlog grooming sessions to discuss and analyze requirements and determine technical approaches. • Refer to existing design documents with assistance from lead developers. • Understand and implement RESTful services built on Spring Framework and perform assigned tasks. • Develop test cases to improve code coverage using APIs such as JUnit and mock frameworks. • Perform software development using Java, Spring Boot, and Angular. • Utilize complete CI/CD process to build and deploy software. • Perform end-to-end development activities including testing, debugging, and continuous integration. About You The company is looking for: • Active student in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related program. • Minimum 3.0 GPA or higher. • Current Junior, Senior, or Graduate student with graduation dates from May 2026 to December 2027. • Strong written and verbal communication skills. • Proficiency in Java, SQL, and software development. • Exposure to Spring Boot and Angular UI required. • Preferred exposure to TypeScript, CSS, REST, RedHat OpenShift, Maven, Jenkins, and GitHub. • Preferred experience with web applications, web services, File management (FileNet), and OCR technologies. • Entrepreneurial spirit and desire to be a continuous learner. • Team player who collaborates effectively. • Self-starter able to work independently and manage multiple tasks/priorities in a fast-paced environment. Compensation & Benefits • Hourly rate of $26-$28 for Greensboro, NC assignments, varying by specialization and qualifications. • Intern position eligible for select Arch benefits.
