Customer Service Specialist Part-Time
Overview Join our dynamic team as you answer and resolve urgent after-hours Customer Care calls during evenings, weekends, and holidays, making a meaningful impact on our customers' experiences. Enjoy the flexibility of working from home, with the necessary requirement of a high-speed internet connection (non-satellite). We prefer candidates with a college degree, but we will also consider those with 5 – 7 years of equivalent supervisory experience in a Call Center environment. Benefits • 401 (K) with generous company match • Paid Time Off (PTO) • Paid training • Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP) • Propane Discounts Responsibilities • Answers and resolves urgent-emergency calls. • Ability to work in multiple systems. • Meet the goals of the team to include quality and productivity standards. • Serves as a customer advocate and records customer feedback in Sales Force, People Soft or any necessary support systems. • Handles and follow up on emergency calls in an efficient and timely manner. • Acts as a helpful resource for customers via phone, email, and chat, responding to customer inquiries in a timely and accurate manner and through completion. • Works towards automating manual tasks by recommending process improvements. • Work in tandem with other team members remotely. • Emanates a positive attitude; ability to support the changes of the business. • Works in a fast-paced environment with seasonal business and high-volume peak times of the year. • Demonstrates high levels of reliability and integrity. • Assists other departments by completing various data entry tasks. • Outbound calls to ensure that orders are fulfilled in a timely manner. Qualifications • High School Diploma or equivalent. • 1 or more year(s) of customer service experience. • Exceptional customer service and negotiation skills that empower our team to delight customers at every interaction. • Strong organizational skills with typing and data entry experience. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a strong emphasis on fostering teamwork and building positive relationships with both colleagues and customers. • Proficient in Microsoft Office including Excel, Word, and Access. • Must be a Citizen or National of the United States, a lawful, permanent resident, or have authorization to work in the United States. • Applicants must not now, or any time in the future, require sponsorship for an employment visa.
