As a premier provider of healthcare services, we prioritize accessibility and excellence, empowering patients with education and support for balanced lifestyles and preventive care.Position Summary: As the Lead Credentialing Specialist at Nexus Wound Consultants, you will oversee and manage all aspects of the credentialing and recredentialing process for healthcare providers. This role ensures compliance with facility, state, and payer-specific requirements, including managing collaboration agreements, verifying licensing for providers, and leading a team of credentialing specialists. You will also act as a key liaison between providers, payers, and internal teams to ensure seamless credentialing operations.Key Responsibilities• Supervise and mentor a team of credentialing specialists, ensuring high performance and adherence to deadlines.• Assign tasks, monitor progress, and provide regular feedback to team members.• Conduct training sessions for new hires and ongoing professional development for the team.• Complete initial credentialing applications and manage recredentialing processes for all providers.• Handle state medical license applications and ensure timely submission and approval.• Verify provider licenses and ensure all licensing information is current and accurate across multiple states.Required Qualifications:Availability to work full-time, Monday - Friday, 8am-5pmReliable home high-speed internet access with a quiet, private workspaceRemote work experience is preferredAssociates Degree preferred3- 5 years with previous credentialing experience, leadership experience preferredCPCS (Certified Provider Credentialing Specialist) or CPMSM (Certified Professional Medical Services Management) certification is highly desirable.Experience with medical licensure applications in multiple statesIn-depth knowledge of local facility and payer credentialing guidelines and processesStrong ability to meet strict deadlines and organize a large volume of work for multiple providersExcellent research skills and multitasking abilitiesAbility to work independently while maintaining confidentiality and quality standardsEffective written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skillsProficiency in Excel; experience as a public or electronic notary is a plusBenefits:Compensation: $70,000 per yearMedical, dental, and vision health insurance401(k) plan with employer matchPaid time offPaid sick leavePaid holidaysLife InsuranceTuition reimbursementReady to Make a Difference?
