Bioinformatics Scientist II
About the position Responsibilities • Work with large, complex data sets. • Conduct end-to-end analysis of epigenetic cell-free nucleic acid NGS data. • Develop, continuously improve, and validate novel biomarkers for oncology products. • Apply statistical methods to evaluate and validate technologies. • Collaborate with the Technology Development team on verification and validation experiments for regulatory submissions. • Provide analytic support on individual samples and research activities. • Develop scripts for research and development activities using cutting-edge AI methods. • Communicate research results through presentations, project reports, and scientific publications. Requirements • Ph.D. in Bioinformatics, Computational Biology, Statistics, Biological Sciences, Cancer Biology, Genetics, Genomics, or Computer Science. • 1-3 years of experience in a relevant field. • Proven scientific reputation demonstrated by publications or contributions to product development in biotech. • Deep understanding of modern genomic tools and pipelines for data processing and analysis. • Experience with next generation sequencing data analysis (DNA, RNA, or epigenetic analysis). • Proficiency in a statistical programming language (e.g., R, Python). • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
