Position Summary CVS Health is offering a unique opportunity to be part of an extremely talented team within CVS Specialty as a Benefits Verification Representative. This position will require you to demonstrate strong attention to detail, utilize problem solving skills, and be a highly focused, performance-driven individual with a background in pharmacy or the healthcare field. You will need to have an understanding of insurance carriers and concepts including drug cards, major medical benefits, and per diem coverage as well as knowledge of government and patient assistance programs. In order to be successful in this role you must be able to verify insurance coverage for both new and existing patients and process patient prescription orders in a timely manner. You'll have to demonstrate excellent customer service to patients, healthcare professionals and insurance carriers. This is a full time position. We're open Monday thru Friday from 8am-6pm and you must be willing to work 40 hours within this schedule. No weekends, limited holidays and covered parking on-site. Preferred Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Communications or Healthcare related field. • Pharmacy experience (PBM, Specialty, etc). • Previous experience working with Prior Authorizations. • Knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, and third party vendors. • Healthcare related certifications and/or licensure. Education • Verifiable High School diploma or GED is required Anticipated Weekly Hours 40 Time Type Full time Pay Range The typical pay range for this role is: $17.00 - $34.15 This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above. Our people fuel our future.
