Auto Liability Desk Adjuster - Remote
About the position Responsibilities • Investigate origin and cause of claims by contacting insureds, claimants, agents, and other relevant parties. • Identify complex issues and seek assistance as needed. • Handle claims on a good faith basis, including both first-party and third-party claims. • Conduct on-site inspections when necessary and evaluate damages. • Negotiate claims with insureds, claimants, attorneys, and public adjusters. • Respond to customer inquiries and make appropriate decisions to close files as needed. • Interpret and apply policies, leases, and contracts to assigned losses. • Provide claim process updates and status to all parties involved. Requirements • Demonstrated experience providing customer-driven solutions or service. • Experience handling first-party and third-party, multi-line claims. • Experience managing moderately complex claims. • Solid knowledge of policies and endorsements related to casualty coverages. • Understanding of each phase of the claim handling process. • Obtain state-specific property casualty claims licensing as required.
