ABA Prior Authorizations Specialist

ROLE: The Prior Authorization Specialist is responsible for obtaining prior authorizations for ABA therapy services, ensuring all patient information is accurate, and serving as a key liaison between families, providers, and insurance companies. Requirements: Skills: • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail • Excellent written and verbal communication, with the ability to interact across all levels of the organization and with families • Ability to multi-task and prioritize needs to meet required timelines • Adaptable and resourceful; able to troubleshoot using available information • Proficient with MS Office and/or Google G-Suite Experience & Education Requirements: • 1+ year experience obtaining authorizations in a medical office required. • Bachelor’s degree preferred Work Location & Hours: • Full-time (approx. 40 hours/week or as business needs dictate) • Fully remote Physical Requirements: • Ability to sit for up to 80% of the day; intermittent standing, stooping, and bending • Manual dexterity for use of computers, tablets, and related tech • Capable of processing complex information and acting in a professional, collaborative manner in all scenarios
